Dad's Chocolate Chip Banana Bread!



While I was in Ann Arbor, I used a lot of egg whites for various healthy dishes. I left many an egg yolk in the fridge, and my decided to get creative. Here's the story in his words:

Used the 'Joy of Cooking' recipe and added 5 or 6 egg yolks and a cup of chocolate chips.

Did not have shortening so I used a third of a cup of butter. The pan I greased with baker's spray with flour.

Turned out just fine for my first try with crisp crust and moist inside.

Should have made this sooner.
