Bisonloaf


I'm experimenting with alternate red meats for husband (he read Eat Right 4 Your Type or whatever it's called and according to them, his blood type should not eat beef...okay).  So I whipped up a mixed turkey/bison loaf:  spinach, an egg, some breadcrumbs, Romano cheese, onion, garlic, salt and pepper are mushed together.  Made into a log shape, put on a sprayed baking sheet, covered with marinara sauce and tofu cheese, baked at 375 degrees for 35 minutes.  Tah dah!  He likey.

Bisonloaf (kinda catchy) served with roasted fingerling potatoes and steamed veggies.
