Zingerman's is amazing and the service and welcoming embrace of an atmosphere is as rich and warm as the food. Above is my sister's smoked chicken macaroni and cheese. Completely craveable. 
Ziggy's (sister's boyfriend) goat cheese burger with hand cut fries (with free fry refills-dangerous genius).
Husband, mom and dad all got the buttermilk fried chicken. Perfectly seasoned and crunchy outside with moist, buttery chicken. Served with coleslaw that husband happily munched down. And he hates coleslaw.
My wild mushroom and goat cheddar cheese spinach salad with brown butter vinaigrette. Pungent and addictive. I order this every visit.
My sister was friends with one of the cooks, who promptly sent out some yam fries to whet our appetites. Served with a slightly spicy remoulade, it worked. Dad finished them off in seconds.
